Have hit a wall regarding Elizabeth CLAUS b. 1861 Asmushausen? and her brother John b. 1870. She married Justus STUETZER b.1856 Asmushausen in Toledo, Ohio in 1883. Her death certificate names her parents as George WILLIAMS and Kathrine CLAUS. Family legend has it that she came to U.S. in Apr 1881 as a domestic/nanny, and her fiance (Justus) followed in Sep 1881. Not sure when brother John came, but he married Julia MINNEKER in Toledo in 1890. Anyone have any info or suggestions? Thanks!
