Searching for birth place of Johannes Claus, born 23 February 1763: died 28 November 1838. He married Maria Elizabeth Staufenbeil. I have no information on her. They are the parents of Anna Dorothea Claus, born in 1805: died in 1874 in Long Grove, Iowa. Her place of birth? Anna married Andreas Hesse and they are my GGgrandparents. Any information greatly appreciated.
