RESIDENCE: Roxbury, Wisconsin Enlistment Date: 27 Oct 1861
Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 27 October 1861.
in Company K, 2nd Wisconsin Infantry Regiment.Wounded at Gettysburg. Transferred into 2nd Battalion, Veteran Reserve Corps on 15 May 1864.

Jacob Witting filed for and received an invalid's pension for his service in Company "K" 2nd Wisconsin Infantry on October 12, 1870 (application # 160553,certificate # 113725)
His unnaned widow received her pension (date not given)
