I seem to be reading conflicting info about the parents of Dora (some say Falidora) Woodson Williams (b. 12 Jun 1863, Gibson Co, TN). On Dora's death cert. it saying that her father was Howard (the placement on the line made it unclear whether this was his first name or his last name) and her mother was unknown. On the 1900 census of Newbern, Dyer, TN, I find that her mother's name is Josephine and is living with Dora and her husband. It says Josephine is widowed. In a 1880 census of Idlewild, Gibson, TN, I find a Dora and Tomie Woodson residing with Jose (female) Woodson and she is listed as divorced. Does anyone have information they can give that will shed some light on this confusion? PS: The other sources list her mother as Luzena (sp?) and Thomas Woodson.
