transcription from" History of Albemarle co.Va Pg.314 In 1794 Thomas Shelton, son of William Shelton, along with his wife, Mary, and his mother, Elizabeth, conveyed what seemed to Thomas's portion of his family's estate to Tarleton Woodson. It seemed to have been on the Mechum River. Would like to know more about the family of Tarleton Woodson
