My father was Henry Woford, the son of Cornealious WOFORD and Emma Lou Prewittwho was born 10/2/14 died 9/17/95. There were several other sons, Ernest born 1/23/02, died 2/19/94, Vernon and another son who died in childhood of polio. There were also several daughters, Ruby Wright, Elva Rae Logue and Edna Moss. All are deceased now except Vernon, who lives in the Danville / Stanford area. One of Ernest's daughter Peggy Woford Groves did research further back, but unfortunately Peggy died this last year. Her sister Janice Hammett may have some of the information. She presently lives in Chapel Hill, NC. I plan to see her sometime this spring and will ask to see if she has anything.
