I have a book that lists marriages that were announced in Lexington,KY area newspapers. "Dr. Samuel Stoy, to Miss Coons, daughter of John Coons, both of Lexinton. Married Dec. 9, 1800." This ran in the Kentucky Gazette on Dec. 9, 1800.
