Auther, The 1850 Census shows three John Rays born 1845: John Ray born 1845 (s/o James born 1802NC) McNairy Co TN John Ray born 1845 (s/o George born 1812TN) Sumner Co TN John Ray born 1845 (s/o W. Ray b. 1810TN & Jane) Weakley Co TN. Hope this helps.
