Saw where you posted on Genform about the Rays. My 4th Great Grand Pa was JOHN RAY. married FANNY. (know very little of her). They lived in BATH County Kentucky. Fanny and her sons lived in Cumberland County Illnois in the 1840s. John died in Indiana or Illnois in that time. Fanny and some of her children moved back to Bath County KY after he died. John was born sometime around 1790 to 1800. Not sure where. Fanny was born 1803. There children were , Volney Ray (My 3rd Great Grand Pa) born 1827. Married Mary Jane Warner 1850. Louisa D. Ray, Montraville W. Ray born 1824, married a Mary E. ???. Gideon G. Ray born 18 November 1828, married Milly Ann Oakley. (both died in Toledo ILL)) Volney Ray born 1827, wife Mary Jane Warner ( my 3rd G,Grand Parents). Lafayette C. Ray born 29 March 1837, married Maria Ginter. George H. Ray born abt 1834, married Armilda Thomas. Robert Marion Ray born abt 1837. Coleman Owen Ray born 24 September 1839, married Martha Jane Ross. Wickliff L. Ray.............. These are my kin.
