Interested in information on William Ray born between 1794-1800 in [West] Virginia. He and his wife Margaret Bradfield married about 1820. They lived briefly in Hardy County [West] Virginia before settling in Wood County [West] Virginia. He died after the 1850 census and before the 1860 census. Margaret moved to Meigs County Ohio with some of her children and died there in 1874. William and Margaret were the parents of 5 daughters: Harriet m. William Staats in 1845 in Wood County; Margaret m. Patrick Selby in 1856 and died in 1859 [in Wood County], Elizabeth m. Elijah Staats in 1842 in Wood County, Mary m. Sanford Wells in 1848 in Wood County and died in 1890 in Meigs County Ohio, and Rebecca m. Kenny Stiles and died in Meigs County in 1894.
