Hi Richard Thank you very much for your reply. It seems very likely that the we are talking about the same people. It is all clues to finding someone who is a descendant. Unfortunately I am a New Zealander living in America so I won't be visiting Cheltenham any time soon! I have found out a little more since posting the first message. Peter was born in 1924 and his brother Mark Richard in 1927. Mark died in 2003 in Cambridge, so perhaps there is family still there. The brother John is still a mystery. Was their father being a Military Knight of Windsor the reason he and Kitty lived in a grace and favour appartment at Windsor Castle? I take it you aren't related to this line despite having the name Richard. I have had no luck discovering where the father Richard was born. He doesn't appear on any censuses and I am wondering if he was perhaps born in Ireland. Thank you once a gain for the information contained in your message, it was very helpful. Kind regards, Kathryn
