Hi Laurie Elizabeth Pennell was born in Greenwich, Kent/South East London, her mother Rachel Sarah CREW was an older sister of my Great Grandmother. They emigrated from England in May 1871 sailing on the s.s. Niger from Liverpool landing at Quebec City, the day they landed was Elizabeth's birthday. They sailed with another of Rachel's sister's.
