Hi...I am also descended from the Maine Pennells and have done much research on the family. My father was able to get a painting done from a photo of the (ship) James Pennell. It now sits in one of his rooms in Massachusetts. I do have copies of the painting that my brother had done, not sure if I could scan one for you. Another distant relative has a picture of the Deborah Pennell, but she lives down in Connecticut. Seems to me as though the library in Camden, Maine, also has a painting of one of the Pennell ships, though the name of it escapes me at the moment. I live just about an hour and a half north of Brunswick. Last summer we went down to see the Pennell mansions, visited one of the cemetaries where some of the Pennells are buried.
