This Richard Pace was born probably in NC and died in Edgefield Co SC before 1797. He was a son of Richard Pace (b. VA ca 1699), who in turn was the eldest son of Richard Pace who died in Bertie Co NC ca 1738. Richard Pace (d. Edgefield bef 1797) had three daughters, Charlotte (m. Ludbrook Lee), Elizabeth (m. John Anderson), and Mary (m. James Rhodes). The wife of Richard Pace is said to have been Sarah Day. However, I have not been able to verify this. I would be interested to know what evidence there is for the marriage. James Blair
