I am seeking information about a Thomas Pace who is shown as the father of Solomon Pace. Solomon Pace, b. abt.1781, married Marie Alary in 1805, Quebec, Canada. Marriage record list Thomas Pace as the father, then domiciled in Quebec, Canada. Record also references Solomon's mother as being deceased and buried in North Carolina, USA. Unfortumately her name is not readable but could be Jemima, Jeminia, Genevevy or something similar. No location in No. Carolina is stated. Both Solomon and Thomas Pace are described as being "Navigateur" indicating they were probably sailors or crewmen on a ship or possibly ex-military engineers/navigators or guides. Solomon and Marie had children named Solomon, Lucy, Elizabeth, and Marie. It is probable that Thomas Pace came from North Carolina or had relatives there. Any help will be appreciated. Dick
