William Pace of Robertson Co TN left will dated 6 Nov 1829, proved 6 Oct 1845 Montgomery Co TN. According to the transcript I have seen, he names sons Henning, William, John, Hardy C., and Dempsey; daughters Sally Davis, Sally Shaw(2 Sallys?); McGraw grandchildren Sissity, Uriah, Archibald, Elizabeth and Mary; Pace grandchildren Christopher S. Pace, Edmund A. Pace, Gideon Pace. Wife not named, presumably dead. This William Pace is said to be the same person as the William Pace who with wife Siseley in 1775 in Halifax Co NC sold land previously deeded to Siseley Walker by her father William Walker. Does anyone know of any firm evidence to show that these two William Paces were the same man? Appreciate any info. James Blair
