The following obituary was printed on the same page as my great grandfather. This is not my line and this is all I have on this family. Thought it may be of help to someone in their research. I am also including the information that was on Grace's Death Certificate:..... Death Certificate lsits: Grace McClaugherty Dawson B: 5 Jun 1906, Castlewood, Va..(Russell Co.) D: 27 Jan 1941, Bluefield, Mercer Co WV Father: George Meade b. St Paul Va ...(Russell Co.) Mother: Emma Neal b. Mercer Co WV Spouse: G. L. Dawson (b. Bedford Co Va..given on son's death certificate) Cause of Death: 1. Influenza 2. Pneumonia 3. Premature Birth, 7 months pregnancy. Burial: 29 Jan 1941, Monte Vista Park COD: #3 was George Littleton Dawson, jr who was born 25 Jan 1941, lived for 2 hours. Grace was sick with the flu and pneumonia when she went into labor with infant Geroge. Burial: 25 Jan 1941 Monte Vista Park {apparently this infant was born, died, and buried on the same day} OBITUARY: {as written} Bluefield Daily Telegraph on 28 Jan 1941: Tuesday Bluefield, Mercer Co WV MRS. GRACE DAWSON Funeral services for Mrs. Grace McClaugherty Dawson, age 34, who died at her home at 3031/2 Bluefield Avenue, yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, will be conducted from Hawkins Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev Mr. Browning, of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Monte Vista Cemetery. Surviving are husband, George L. Dawson, and the following children: Mary Ann, Emma Lou, Talma, Trula, Mac, Peggy Lee, Shirley Grey, Frances, Charles and William, all at home.
