I did another search of the the 1880 census, using different search terms, and this looks like it must be the one you're looking for: Masourian MEAD Born 1866 in WV Living in Hardee, Logan, West Virginia Father James Mead born 1832 in WV, father born in NC, mother born in Ohio Mother Nancy Mead born 1853 in KY Mother Nancy Mead could be a step-mother. I tried searching the 1870 census, but there wasn't any Missouri Ann or Masourian.
