I am researching John Mead born abt 1805 in NY and living in Broome County New York in the 1850 census. I would like to know who his father was. Also his wife Eliza's maiden name. In the 1820 Broome County NY census, there were five Mead head of households: Amos, Salmon (Zalmon), Nathan, Daniel & Ezekial. I suspect one of them was John's father. Any help appreciated in sorting this out. Thanks, Pat
