Looking for information on my ggg grandfather, WILLIAM MEAD, b. 1782 near Newark, N.J., d. 1867 in Buchanan, Berrien Co., Michigan. WIfe: EUNICE, b.1783 in New York, d. 1861 in same location as above. Sons: 1] my gg grandfather DANIEL BOSTWICK MEAD, b 1817, Mentz, Cayuga Co. NY, d.1890, Iowa. Probably two brothers, WILLIAM Jr. and ROBERT. 2] Grandson (my g grandfather) GILES WARD MEAD, b.1838, Medina, Summit CO.Ohio, d. 1913, San Luis Obispo, CA. More info available. Want to determine who William's parents were to connect to the original New Holland/Amsterdam settlement.
