My ancestor, Thomas MACKIE, (son of Robert MACKIE and Isobel MALCOLM),was baptised 4 Sep 1737, married Agnes CUSHNIE (dau of John CUSHNIE) at Drumoak on 21 Jul 1763. Issue of the marriage: Thomas 12/8/1764 Agnes 9/1/1766 Isobel 10/1/1768, married William LEIGHTON 23/12/1792. Ann 8/7/1780 Janet 20/6/1784 John 8/7/1770 James 21/12/1772 Thomas 27/3/1774 Alexander 9/6/1776, married Barbara COPLAND Elspet 16/5/1778 Isobel and William are my ancestors. They lived at Baldarroch, Banchory Ternan. I have a copy of a plan of Baldarroch, with the measurements of paddocks, etc, drawn up by Alexander. I don't have a lot on the Mackies, but expect to be in Scotland later this year, so hope to do some research.
