These brothers are children of Leonard Litz and Juliana Gose. Two-part question: (1) re: John Leonard -- I have that he was married 3 times: Elizabeth Steffey, Clarissa Watts, and Jemima Kinder. Where the first two marriages divorces? And I have him dying on 18 Oct 1840, same as wedding day to Jemima. Did he really die on that day? Re: Peter Litz -- I'm assuming he was a Col. in the Civil War, but as yet, haven't found anything on that. Just a blurb from Tazewell County saying how wonderful he was. Ring any bells with anyone?
