I may be related to your Jacob Kujawa. According to my family tree info, he was my great, great, great grandfather. He was married to Anna Lepenski (Lipeniska). According to some older relatives, the name changed to Kaiver when his son Francisci (Frank) came to the US in 1866. Frank eventually settled in Glenmore, Wisconsin which is just south of Green Bay. Frank was born on September 28, 1840 and was born in Posen, Poland. I have lots more info on the Glenmore Kaivers if you think this could be them. Please email me directly with further questions.
