KIZER-KERCHER-Looking for parents of Elizabeth Kizer born about 1820, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Kizer Kercher died on 18 Oct 1871 at the age of 53 years, 1 month, and 18 days. There is a brief mention of her death in the WOOSTER REPUBLICAN 26 OCTOBER 1871 p. 3 Col. 5. It mentions she died in Mechanicsburg, Wayne County, Ohio. Mechanicsburg is in Wayne Township. Her husband was Curtis Kercher born 19 Dec 1808 in Pennsylvania. Died,WAYNE TWP/WAYNE COUNTY ,Ohio, Feb. 17 1870. My line is through their daughter Eliza Ann Kercher who married John Major ( born in Ireland ) and after his death ( at the age of 24) she married David Geitgey of Wooster, Ohio.
