My great-great-grandfather Joseph Benjamin Plosser, came to the US in 1850. He was forced to leave Hungary because he had been a secretary to Lajos Kossuth. I would like to find out who he was in Hungary. We believe the surname may have been "Plosszer." He was the son of a Hungarian nobleman and an Austrian aristocrat. Their ancestral home may have been near Lake Balaton. He had a sister named Erzebet. Their father's name was probably Ferencz. Any direction in how to find them would be appreciated.
