John,
I did not have that information you provided on the grand-parents and g-grandparents of Ann Hartsock who married Isaiah Norwood. Ann and Isaiah's daughter Rachael Norwood is my gg-grandmother. So that makes Ann Hartsock my 3g-grandmother, and makes John and Catherine Fox Hartsock my 4g-grandparents. Thank you.

However, my information on William Barrick does not match with yours.

It is my understanding that William Barrick, born about 1727, was indeed married to a Catherine. This William Barrick had a son, William Barrick, Jr. It was William Barrick Jr. who married Catherine Herzog/Hartsock. This I found in the DeVilbiss Genealogy book by Dr. Wilbur DeVilbiss. I own a copy of this book.

In this book there is both a copy and a transciption of the Will of William Barrick, Sr. dated 20th April 1791; probated 19 May 1791: "one third ..to my wife Catherine Barrick, and.. two-thirds to my Children, namely Jacob Barrick, George Barrick, Mary Barrick, Catharine DeVilbiss, William Barrick, Junr., Susanna Barrick, Michael Barrick and Sarah Barrick, to be equally divided amongst them." etc. "And lastly I Constitute, Ordain and Appoint My Well-beloved Son-in-Law Adam DeVilbiss and my Well-beloved Son Jacob Barrick, my Whole and Sole exectuors," etc. Signed William Barrick (Fred Co. Willis Liber G.M. 2., f. 378) I tried to obtain another copy from Frederick County but they told me it was not available.

So you see from his will that William Barrick Sr. names his wife as Catharine and lists their children as: Catherine, Susannah, Jacob, George, Mary, Sarah, Michael, and William Jr. who married Catherine Hartsock = 8 children.

Same Jacob Barrick named here was also named in both George DeVilbiss' will and his brother-in-law Adam DeVilbiss' will dated May 16, 1785. I have copies of both these wills.

From the Ancestral Records of C. Wesley Armor pub. Lyon and Armor, Inc. Philadelpia PA 1971 we read:
The Barrick Family
snip
William Barrick, JR married May 22, 1778 Catharine Heartsock.

Con't:
William Barrick, Sr.'s father Johann Wilhelm Berg (also known as William Barrick) left a Will dated June 30, 1750 probated July 27, 1750 in which he lists sons, Handeal Barrick, William Barrick, John Barrick and Peter Barrick. Daughters are also names. He does not name his Wife, who, evidently died before date the Will was made.

Based on these two references, I believe that it was William Barrick, Jr. (son of William Barrick, Sr., died 1791, son of Johann Wilhelm Berg/aka William Barrick died 1750) who married Catherine Hartsock.

I do not know about that Eva Kramer you mentioned. She is not mentioned in any of the references that I have. So she may also have been married to William Barrick Jr. brother of my Catherine DeVilbiss. Let's see if we can work this out.
