Hi Pat, my Cains probably went to KY by way of VA. Brothers Patrick, Matthew & Michael Cain born Ireland ca 1760s were in Nelson Co KY by 1792. Some of their elder children may have been born in VA. The ole paper trail gets hard to follow way back then, but if we are related then a simple cheek-swab DNA test will prove that.
