Were any of your O'Cains ever in the Halifax District of NC? I have a William O'Cain born about 1765. He lived in the Halifax area of North Carolina at the time of the 1790 Federal census records. He MIGHT have been married to a Anne O'Brien...not positive of this...not sure where William O'Cain was born. His family may have come from Antrim, Ireland...to Penn., Va. and then N.C.....no proof yet on this...this comes from a Cain/O'Cain researcher... William O'Cain had at least six children. Some of them later changed their name to CAIN. Their names were Lawrence O'Cain/Cain, Anne O'Cain,Randel O'Cain, Bartholomew O'Cain/Cain, William O'CainII/Cain, and Lenia O'Cain... Would like to connect William O'Cain to his ancestors and find out who his wife was. Susan
