Does anyone have proof, or good circumstantial evidence, of a marriage between John Cabaniss and Elizabeth Longmire? They were both born ca 1740's and presumably married in Va. I believe they moved to Ky circa 1792 from Va. They may have had upwards of 10 children, including: Hannah m. Sanford Gorham Lucy m. David Caldwell Elizabeth m. Tarpley Oldham Susannah m. ________ Bradley Nancy m. __________ Robertson William who moved to Alabama John M. who moved to Illinois Charles b. 1786 Va Am also interested in George L. (Longmire) Cabaniss, supposedly last child born to this couple ca 1792. Can anyone confirm George's middle name? Parents for John are: Matthew m. Hannah Clay. Parents of Elizabeth probably William Longmire and Susannah ____________ both of King George Co, Va.
