I am trying to find a connection between Joshua Cabbiness who was b. VA May 15, 1815 and any other cabinesses. There was a Charles Cabiness in Upshur County Texas about the same time that Joshua landed there. Joshua marries Sarah Mings and their first child was born in Alabama so I would guess that he came to Texas from Alabana. Joshua was my mothers gg grandfather. Leo G. Tate
