Christian Burmeister born 1855 and married Abel Lippold in 1881 immigrated to the U.S. in 1882. They settled near Walnut, Iowa and farmed until his death in November 7, 1919. Abel died in Avoca, IA. in 1946. Do you have any information regarding their parents originally from Holstein, Germany?
