I am looking for descendants of the Brooks family of Cobb County GA who are relatives of my Great Grandmother, Mary Ann Brooks who married John Washington Kemp(b.1838,d.1917). Her father is: William Brooks, (married twice, 8 children by 2nd wife, no name for 1st wife). I have no idea of how to attribute which children to which mother. I think this is 2nd wife. Mother is Rhoda (Cox) Brooks. Children are: Jack Brooks , Joe Brooks, Radford Brooks (a lifelong bachelor), Bill Brooks, George Brooks, Thomas Brooks, James Mervous Brooks (a doctor, married a Lewis? girl), Millie Brooks (married Jno.B.Kemp,--Isaac & Billie), Cynthia Brooks, Sarah Brooks, Margret Brooks (John Shipp, Ola Fannie), MARY ANN BROOKS (b.1836+ or -?,d.1929 @93years, outlived all other siblings), Elizabeth Brooks (married a Robertson, had 11 boys, no girls), Nancy Brooks (called Aunt Sis, married an Osborne man).
