I am trying to trace my Brooks line through my gggrandmother Edwina Bertha Brooks, born 29 Aug 1866 Arlington, Iowa. She married Lee Carpenter about 1880. Her parents were Chauncey Lewis Brooks b about 1817 married Hannah Casebier (Casebeer)18 March 1851 in Linn,Cedar, Iowa. Chauncey Lewis Brooks' parents were Benjamin Brooks and Nancy Olive Harris. That is all I know. If you could point me in the right direction, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks Anne Hayes
