The DNA descendancy charts document all known DNA submissions that have connections to early South Carolina. These DNA descendancy charts are very speculative in nature and will change as more submissions are added, more markers are analyzed and more traditional documentation is collected on these lines. Some of these lines currently have no submissions and are based on traditional documentation only. For more information about the Brooks DNA Project, go to the Family Tree DNA website: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/BrooksSurnameDNAProject/default.aspx From R1b1b2 cluster DNA Progenitor of cluster MRCA = 143921 (very speculative need more submissions) ____Richard Brooks, b. 1712 (possible father of Robert Brooks, b. 1736) ________Robert Brooks, b. 1736 MRCA (resided in Lunenburg & Mecklenburg Counties, VA) ____________Jordan Brooks, b. 1765, d. 1835, Talbot Co, GA (resided in Edgefield County, SC) ________________Isham Brooks, b. 1786, VA possible future submission ________________Robert Brooks, b. 1787, VA possible future submission ________________Williamson Brooks, b. 1800, Edgefield Co, SC 143921 (MRCA) ________________Allen Brooks, b. 1802, Edgefield Co, SC possible future submission ________________Wyatt Brooks, b. 1805, Edgefield Co, SC possible future submission ________________Francis Asberry Brooks, b. 1815, GA possible future submission ________________John Wesley Brooks, b. 1822, GA possible future submission ____________Robert Rose Brooks, b. 1762, d. 1848, Pike Co, AL (resided in Edgefield County, SC) ________________Six sons by 1st wife, Mary Parham names of sons are unknown ________________Samuel W.
