I am looking for info on the Brooks family who lived in Chattanooga, TN. My grandfather was Irvin Herman Brooks. He lived and died in Chattanooga. He was born in 1903. He had a brother, Millard Brooks, born in 1909. The only thing I can find is a 1910 census which has his and his brother's name spelled wrong. The census has it as Ervin and Willard. It has his father's name as Vincent, but I always have heard that his name was Vesuvius (sp)Kennedy Brooks; called V K. I think my grandfather's mother may have been named Maude. Can anyone give me any info on this Brooks family? Thank you so much for any help you can give me. I believe that these Brooks live in TN for several generations, at least.
