Edward Brooks was my husbands great great grandfather. We are doing our genealogy now and this info has been so helpful. If you have anymore info we would love to have it. His grandfather was Edward brooks Jr who lived in Brooklyn new york married to Hester Brooks we dont know her maiden name yet, still researching. they were both born in petersburg, VA
