There seem to be some confusion about the actual husband of Catherine Duvall b. 1682, daughter of Susanah Marie Brasseur. On page 44 of Charles Brashears book, "The Brashear Family History, vol 1" he claims that it was William Carrick, son of James Carrick. There are quite a few researchers who disagree saying it was William Orrick. It seems that everyone claims the same marriage date, but different husband. Someone must have this incorrect. Can anyone straighten out this confusion? thanks David Sumner
