Hi, According to the book THE BRASHEAR-BRASHEARS FAMILY 1449-1929 by Henry Brashear, Robert Brasseur's, who was born ca1598, parents were Allemond de Jocas Brasseur born ca 1575 in Pernes, Venaissin, France. He died 18 Sept 1625 in Pernes, France. He married Madeline de Cheilus 18 June 1594. She was born ca 1575. Allemond was the son of Esprit de Jocas Brasseur born 1550 in Pernes. He died 28 Feb 1591/92 in Caprentras, France. He married Franciose de Jarenti 25 Nov 1574. She was born ca 1549. Children: Allemond born 1575 Francois born 1577 Gaspard born 1579 Thomas born 1581 Marguerite born 1583 Esprit was the son of Barthelemy de Jocas Brasseur born 1515. He died 1556 and married Esprit Choiselant. I do not have the book in my hands. It is at our library.
