I am researching my great-great-great grandparents. I believe their names were (according to another researcher here): ISAAC LAVOIE & MATHILDE BOUCHARD Their daughter, GENEVIEVE LAVOIE, married ANTHYME BOUCHARD on 27 May 1867 at St-Patrice, Riviere-du-Loup, QC. Genevieve and Anthyme Bouchard settled in northeastern Wisconsin (Flintville) as farmers, retiring to live in the nearby city of Green Bay, Wisconsin. They had eight children: Albert, Alzress, Oscar, Anton, "Lydia" Elizabeth, Mary, Ernest and Harry. (Anthyme was always known as "Antone" once he immigrated to Wisconsin.) Anthyme's parents were: PIERRE BOUCHARD & MONIQUE LEBOURDAIS Virtually nothing is known about the Canadian ancestors of either Genevieve or Anthyme. They are my great-great grandparents and they have many, many descendants in Wisconsin! ANY information from our Canadian side would be appreciated. Thanks! |
