Hi Shelley Many thanks for replying to me. I am still snowed under with cross referencing my Chedds - feel there is a connection but trying to fathom out who belongs to who. I would welcome a copy of your Chedds from your FT maker. My Thomas Chedd junior was born in 1855 (Thomas snr. could have been his father born in 1825/6). Our Thomas married a Sarah Berry in 1878 and they had at least 6 children - one of whom was Clara Chedd who married William Barrett in 1902. They had two children William and Norah (my grandma) born in 1908. Please let me know how you are getting on. Where does Stumpy Marsh come from.
