Hi Donald: (you have the same name as my husband) I have records from La Societe St. Pierre that show that Luce Babin's parents were Madeleine (not Marguerite) LeBlanc and Claude Babin. The parents of Claude Babin are listed as Jean Babin (c1689) and Marguerite Bourque. The parents of Madeleine LeBlanc (b. 3/10/1743) are Claude LeBlanc (c.1770) and Judith Benoit (c. 1726). I've found conflicting trees to Claude so I think someplace along the line a couple of Claude's might have been crossed. Luce Babin was my g-g-g-g grandmother (I think I got the number of G's correct).
