Might anyone have verifiable proof/evidence that a Marie Clemence BABIN married Manuel LOPEZ in LA(Baton Rouge or vicinity?)c. 1818??? I have found unsubstantiated info that stipulates that she was the dau. of a Joseph Ephrain BABIN, b. 1774 Ascension Par., LA by his wife, Ana Marie HEBERT, and subsequently, gdau. of Joseph Olivier BABIN(?1748-1809)by his wife, Osile/Osithe LEBLANC. If anyone has Marie Clemence's ancestry, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Regards, Larry
