Not sure if there is a connection or not. My husband's grandfather was Jesus "Jesse" Arellanes or Arellano. He was born about 1881 in Chihuahua, Mex. Jesus' father was Pedro Arellanes or Arellano and mother Ignacia Gardea. Jesus moved his family to El Paso, TX. around 1908 to 1911.wife is Manuela Rivas, children: Jose went by Joe, b. 1902 Mex., Anita b.1903, Mex., Guadalupe b.1906, Mex., Manuel b.1908 Mex., Enriqueta b.1911, El Paso, TX., Ignasio b. 1913 El Paso, TX., Pedro b.1915 L.A., CA. and Salvador b. 1917, L.A.,Ca. On census in L.A. shows a Benito Arellanes/Arellano & his family living with Jesus. That is the only sibling of Jesus I know, except for a sister Dolores "Lola" Arellanes-Corral.
