I am looking for proof that Matthew Jeptha (also listed as Jeptha Matthew) Adams (1786 SC - 1833 GA) was the father of Mastin (also listed as Maston) Huron Adams (1821 SC - 1883 GA). The family removed from the Pendleton District, SC to the Habersham District, GA sometime between 1830 - 1833, about the time the Habersham District began splitting up into new counties. Looking for a will, probate record, etc. in GA records (Habersham County? Cherokee County?)to show the relationship - - or Church Family Membership list, Baptismal/Christening record, etc. in the Pendleton, SC area to show Mastin as Matthew's small child.
