I have been given the following information about Samuel Adams, a son of James and Jane (Jenny) Cunningham Adams who came to GA from VA in the 1790s. This is not information that I have verified myself but I am interested in seing if I can tie it into my own Adams line. I would like to hear from anyone who has information on this family. I am particluarly interested in where they were in GA and what happened to Samuel's son James (shown below as being born in 1814). Samuel Adams married Martha Ann "Patsy" Thornton. Samuel was born in 1784 in VA, before the family came to GA, and he died in Midway, Barbour Co., AL 6 Nov 1861. Samuel and Patsy had children: Charlotte born c 1804 Sanford c 1806 Joseph c 1809 Thompson c 1809 Eldridge c 1812 James c 1814 Elizabeth Jane c 1817 Marion c 1820 Jerimiah c 1823 Merial c 1826 Martha Ann c 1828 Alfred Newton c 1831
