My great-grandfather George Henry Carroll (1849-1925) from Dorchester Co., MD had 7 other siblings. 3 died in childhood. His sister Emma m. Silas Sparklin and raised a family in Federalsburg, MD. I don't have marriage info nor descendents on the other 3 brothers: James Carroll- remained on the family farm Benjamin Franklin Carroll & Frederick Wilson Carroll settled in nearby Hurlock, MD. Benjamin operated a canning factory in St. Michaels, MD. Fred also started a canning business in Hurlock but when his factory was destroyed by fire, he moved his family to Washington, DC and took a job with an insurance company. All ancestry is Protestant- likely Methodist or Episcopal. George was born first, in 1849, the others in the 1850s. George moved to Iowa, then settled the Dakota territory. Any info appreciated.
