Harry Cane was a comedian and worked in the UK from 1870 and in the USA in the 1990s- 1910s. He was born Thomas Henry Cane in 1850 to Thomas Henty Cane [b.1824] and married Mary Emma Lowe in 1877. Some of his children Frank [b. 1880] and Emma also participated in the theatre productions.
I have found 701 entries of his name in articles and advertisements just in the theatre newspaper THE ERA from 1870 to 1900.
Question: I would like to know if anyone has a Harry in their UK Cane family as I need to eliminate the Harrys in my Newspaper and emigration references.
Also of course if you are connected I would love to hear from you.
