I am trying to find information about David L. Caldwell who married Theodosia Dodge who died in 1828. David was born abt 1792 and died supposedly in Perry Co., MO in 1831. He apparently was a colonel of state troops, sheriff and member of the legislature in 1829, but I am unable to find where this information came from, other than it was published in several books on Tristham Dodge's genealogy.
Children of David and Theodosia were: Rosa Anna who m Robert Phillips; Margaret Tuttle who died young; Henry Logan Caldwell who married Eliza Byrne and was a member of the Missouri Legislature 1858-60; and Mary Ann Theodosia Caldwell who married Henry L. McArthur (my husband's line).
