If Jim Cains and Bruce Cain wish to learn whether they are related, this is where a Y-chromosome DNA test really comes into it's own. The Y-chromosome is passed from father to son just like the family surname. The Cain DNA prpoject at www.familytreedna.com is now the largest database of Cain (etc) DNA. Jim & Bruce may match each other, but if not, they are likely to find other DNA matches in the Cain DNA project.
