Correction to my first message,Mary Cains's mother was Elizabeth Thompson'she died one year after the birth of Mary and was a subject of a removal order as seen on the
"a2a" web site.Mary was again on this web.site with John
Lanning 20 years or so later.
As regards to a connection with the Morden Lannings.my line is back to Kington Magna and I have not made a link,I have found a Kezia Lanning born 1812 the daughter of George Lanning and Susanna.and a marriage of George Heckford and Kezia Matthews on the G R O date Jul.Aug.Sep. quarter 1862 at Poole.5a 493
I am interested in the Morden Lannings as my Johnsons were working together on the Drax Estate as on the 1881 Census. Cyril
